ABOUT IMECHE NEAR
North East Asia Region (NEAR) provides members and volunteers residing in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Chinese Taipei with regular contact with IMechE and bespoke ways to engage with the Institution and other members. While serving over 4000 members and volunteers in the Region, NEAR directs the area’s Branch, Clusters and Groups to actively engage local members and raise the profile of the engineering profession and the Institution through the provision of networking, events, news, links with like-minded organisations and opportunities for the local engineering community.

Thank for your support and would like to inform you that I am elected as the North East Asia Region Chairman on the 27 May 2021. IMechE Headquarter Council Meeting. I would express my sincerely thank to Mr. Louis Szeto for his term that made the great success of NEAR.
